China's inbound tourism sector is experiencing a robust resurgence, thanks to the visa-free policy scheme and the adoption of convenient payment methods, which have led to a steady rise in the number of international visitors.
Beijing has seen an influx of tourists in recent days, as it hosted its largest group of around 300 visitors from Germany since the visa-free policy took effect.
Leveraging China's advanced transportation network, tourists have enjoyed visits to iconic landmarks, from the awe-inspiring Temple of Heaven to the majestic Great Wall.
Meanwhile, east China's Jiangsu Province welcomed 220,000 tourists in the first two months of the year alone, marking an increase of over 120 percent compared to the previous year and contributing 350 million U.S.dollars in foreign currency earnings from tourism.

Central China's Zhangjiajie has become a favored destination, particularly among Korean tourists, who make up 40 percent of its 178,500 international visitors.
The visa-free policy, coupled with user-friendly payment solutions, has injected new energy into China's tourism industry. Since 2024, inbound tourism bookings have tripled, with Asian tourists leading the charge, accounting for 55 percent of the total, followed by Europeans, North Americans, and Oceanians.
