NEW YORK, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Wall Street's major averages rallied on Monday, boosted by solid gains in tech shares.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 376.66 points, or 1.11 percent, to 34,245.93. The S&P 500 added 46.83 points, or 1.14 percent, to 4,137.29. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased 173.67 points, or 1.48 percent, to 11,891.79.

Investors awaited a slew of economic highlights this week, including the U.S. consumer price index for January on Tuesday, retail sales data on Wednesday, and the producer price index on Thursday.
