U.S. dollar dips as euro rises 2023/3/7 source: Print

NEW YORK, March 6 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar decreased in late trading on Monday, amid a momentum in the euro.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, fell 0.17 percent to 104.3503.

In late New York trading, the euro rose to 1.0675 U.S. dollars from 1.0634 dollars in the previous session, and the British pound decreased to 1.2017 U.S. dollars from 1.2045 dollars in the previous session.

The U.S. dollar bought 136.0300 Japanese yen, higher than 135.80 Japanese yen of the previous session. The U.S. dollar fell to 0.9320 Swiss francs from 0.9360 Swiss francs, and it was up to 1.3617 Canadian dollars from 1.3589 Canadian dollars. The U.S. dollar was up to 10.4594 Swedish Kronor from 10.4588 Swedish Kronor.
