BEIJING, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Action crime film "The Pig, the Snake and the Pigeon" stayed atop Chinese mainland's daily box office tally on Monday, data from the China Movie Data Information Network showed.

With a daily box office revenue of nearly 14.17 million yuan (2 million U.S. dollars), the film's total box office reached 398 million yuan on its eleventh screening day.

It was followed by Hollywood science fiction film "Dune: Part Two," which grossed 13.93 million yuan on its fourth screening day. Domestic romantic drama "I Miss You" came in bong with a daily box office earning of 9.53 million yuan.

Monday's box office earnings totalled 49.25 million yuan.
