China Express named Qilu made 699 trips from the SCO Demonstration Zone in the first 11 months 2022/12/13 source: Print

According to the latest statistics, the China-Europe freight train named Qilu made 699 trips from the SCO Demonstration Zone in the first 11 months of this year, increasing by 33.4% year on year and setting a new record high. Furthermore, these freight train trips have contributed to stabilizing global industrial chains and supply chains and facilitating connectivity in trade, and accelerated the construction of the international logistics center in the SCO Demonstration Zone.

Since the beginning of this year, the Qilu Express in the SCO Demonstration Zone has opened new international freight train routes to Samarkand in Uzbekistan, Serbia and Mannheim in Germany. Currently, the Qilu Express operates 28 international and domestic freight trains, and can reach 52 cities in 22 countries involved in the SCO and the Belt and Road Initiative. Moreover, the China-Russia Express from the SCO Demonstration Zone to Vladivostok Port and the chartered plane named the SCO Express Flight from the SCO Demonstration Zone to Moscow have been successively put into operation, and the logistics channel system of the sea, land, air and railway in the demonstration zone has taken shape. Logistics businesses above the designated scale have seen an increase of 72.64% year on year in revenues.

It is worth mentioning that the China-Europe freight train named Qilu made 268 return trips in the first 11 months, chalking up a new record and resulting in a bilateral pattern.  (Xi Fuchun)
