The “Travel Online Around Qingdao” intelligent cultural tourism platform was recently put into operation, marking that the “Tour Around Qingdao Via a Mobile Phone” has officially started providing one-stop services to tourists at home and abroad, including catering, lodging, transportation, tourism, shopping and entertainment.
The “Tour Around Qingdao Via a Mobile Phone” project consists of one center and three platforms, namely the Qingdao cultural tourism big data center, the public tourist service platform, the comprehensive cultural tourism supervision center and the tourism enterprise management service platform.
The cultural tourism data center, which has two functions, namely big data collection and analysis, and three-dimension visualization, is able to provide data analysis on industrial economy and marketing monitoring; scenic spots, hotel and lodging, museums and cultural venues, travel agency guiding and rural tourism; tourist conditions, tourist markets, supervision of citywide cultural tourism, and aviation passenger traffic.
In regard to the public tourist service platform, the “Travel Online Around Qingdao” is accessible to citizens and tourists via Wechat search, scanning QR codes and sharing App. The platform comprises 22 functional modules in three categories to provide citizens and tourists one-stop services. First, booking, ticket sales and shopping services, including bookings of scenic spot tickets, restaurants and guesthouses, museums and cultural venues, as well as special sales of famous and special products; second, the function of presenting urban tourism features, including Qingdao stories, beautiful countrysides, travel notes, recommended tourist routes, and such tourism features as marine tourism, industrial tourism, a city of film, a city of museums and a city of arts; third, tourism and traveling services, including rescue and assistance, complaint and consultation, Qingdao parking and navigation service, etc.
The comprehensive cultural tourism supervision platform, which can in real time monitor and inspect the safety of the citywide key cultural tourist spots, have included the city’s 26 4A-level above tourist attractions, 7 3A-level tourist attractions and 60 state-owned museums and cultural venues, where passenger flows and alert systems are monitored in real time.
The tourism enterprise management service platform assists the related enterprises in opening shops, product exhibition, livestreaming sales and discount coupon issuing on the platform. (Ma Xiaoting)
