On the morning of February 15, the “Ocean Decade” international cooperation center jointly built by the Chinese Ministry of Natural Resources, the Shandong Provincial Government and the Qingdao Municipal Government held the signing and unveiling ceremony in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao.

The “Ocean Decade” international cooperation center will focus on serving significant national strategies in ocean field, leverage the strengths, gather all kinds of resources, pursue innovation of mechanisms, solidly implement the work of the “Ocean Decade” China Committee, advance pragmatic cooperation between the three sides in ocean field, booster high-quality development of marine economy with high-level opening up, help Qingdao build a leading modern marine city, and contribute its part to the strategy of enhancing the national and provincial maritime strength.   (Xue Huafei)
