According to the Jiaozhou Logistics Work Promotion Service Centre, the SCO international hub port in the SCO Demonstration Zone has been conferred by the UN the international port code “CNJZH”, marking the ownership of the “identity card” for involving in international trade.

Reportedly, the SCO international hub port has been included in the international trade and transportation system and qualified for the port of departure or the destination port in international transportation. Goods can be shipped from foreign countries or regions to the SCO international hub port as per instructions on the B/L and directly make declarations in the port. Such moves will not only greatly streamline the process of international trade and help enterprises reduce costs and enhance efficiency, but also contribute to gathering such high-end services as shipping insurance and financial agency and improve the modern service sector in the SCO Demonstration Zone.   (Xi Fuchun)
