Qingdao firm pioneers low-altitude flight intelligent management 2026/3/4 source: Print

Qingdao Cloud Century has emerged as a leader in the low-altitude economy by launching China's first regulatory service cloud platform based on air traffic control standards. By bridging the gap between flight plan declarations and collaborative approvals, the platform now processes 82.2 percent of the nation's operational data. This "data asset" has enabled nearly a thousand drone enterprises to achieve legal compliance while empowering the company to lead the formulation of ISO international and CAAC industry standards.

Beyond regulatory oversight, the company has addressed challenges such as flight supervision and cluster scheduling through its Low-Altitude Intelligent Perception Platform in Laoshan district.

A standout feature of this system is the Magic Station, an automated docking hub that allows drones to execute inspection missions without manual intervention. Upon receiving system commands, drones autonomously patrol construction sites and waterways, transmitting real-time footage before returning to base. This innovative machine patrol model has effectively replaced traditional labor-intensive ground inspections.

To date, the platform has facilitated over 30,000 flights, totaling 260,000 minutes and 70,000 kilometers. Its applications have expanded into 10 diverse government sectors, including urban governance, emergency command, and ecological protection.

By ensuring low-altitude flights are visible, manageable, and highly functional, Qingdao Cloud Century is successfully shifting low-altitude intelligence from a technical concept to a robust industrial paradigm, setting a new benchmark for city-scale drone integration in China.
