Qingdao has designated 55 areas across the city where fallen leaves will be cleared less frequently, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy golden autumn scenery.
The city's annual delayed leaf-sweeping program covers selected streets and parks, leaving fallen leaves in place longer to preserve the seasonal landscape.
Recommended spots include Juyongguan Road in the Badaguan Scenic Area, where golden ginkgo trees line streets dotted with European-style villas.
Zhongshan Park offers a colorful mix of ginkgo trees, red maples, and other autumn foliage, while the Taipingjiao area combines golden tree-lined streets with coastal views.
Other popular destinations include Zhanshan Temple, Baihua Garden, and Qingdao Expo Park. Many are accessible by metro.
Ginkgo leaves typically reach their peak golden color from late October to mid-November, depending on weather conditions.
