SHENZHEN Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow alert for cold weather at 10 a.m. yesterday and said the alert is expected to last for three days.

Affected by a cold front and rainfall, temperatures in the city are dropping gradually. Today and tomorrow, the lowest temperature is expected to plunge to about 9 degrees Celsius.

Today, the city will experience overcast skies with light rain, while tomorrow’s weather will transition from scattered light rain to cloudy conditions.

From Saturday (Spring Festival) to Tuesday, the weather will alternate between cloudy and sunny conditions. Cold mornings and evenings are anticipated, with temperatures warming up during the day. The daily temperature range is projected to widen during this period, according to the latest weather forecast.
