CHINA Southern Airlines will open a new route between Shenzhen and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia starting March 31, bringing the total number of routes to Southeast Asian countries to seven.
Flight CZ5079 to Kuala Lumpur will operate daily, with departures at 8:20 p.m. from Shenzhen and arrivals at 12:30 a.m. in Kuala Lumpur the following day. The trip is about 4 hours and 10 minutes long. Return flight CZ5080 leaves at 1:30 a.m. and arrives in Shenzhen at 5:45 a.m.
China has signed visa-free agreements with Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Starting March 31, China Southern Airlines will operate daily direct flights to Singpore, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok.
