THE Chinese University of Hong Kong Shenzhen Research Institute (CUHK SZRI) and Corvinus University of Budapest (CUB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to solidify a partnership focused on further exploring cutting-edge research and development, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI) and other advanced technologies.
The MOU also seeks to foster collaboration and exchanges between China and Hungary in scientific and technological innovation as part of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Yeung Yam, director of CUHK SZRI, said during the signing ceremony that the MOU builds upon existing collaborations between researchers from both institutions.
Fehér Péter, vice president for international relations of CUB, emphasized the transformative potential of AI, particularly in revolutionizing various aspects of daily life such as business operations, organizational dynamics, and societal interactions.
