YESTERDAY marked the eighth anniversary of the launch of DT News, the news app of the Shenzhen News Group (SNG).
This occasion was made even more notable by the launch of SNG’s AI editorial office system yesterday. Newspapers under the umbrella of SNG, including Shenzhen Daily, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, and Shenzhen Economic Daily, have embraced this innovative spirit by introducing AI co-creation pages.
In commemoration of this anniversary, DT News unveiled an enhanced version of its “Flying Card Reading” feature. This update introduces an AI news consultant that helps users filter the news they want to read and provides them with tailored recommendations.
In the meantime, DT News has cooperated with leading internet companies to create an “AI Rubik’s Cube” function that expands interaction scenarios with users. This inventive feature offers users a dynamic and interactive way to explore a diverse array of content, from cost-saving tips and fitness advice to fashion insights, by simply navigating a virtual Rubik’s Cube.
SNG also officially launched its AI application open platform yesterday. The platform, developed with the AI service system designed by SNG’s technology department and leveraging the AI capabilities provided by giants such as Huawei Cloud and Tencent Cloud, can facilitate content creation for, and publishing of, SNG’s newspapers and new media platforms through functions such as AI text polishing and style rewriting.
It is worth mentioning that SNG has initiated an AI Application Innovation Competition to encourage all employees to explore the applications of AI technology and to solicit AI innovative products, application projects, and AI works.
Additionally, SNG, in partnership with a major domestic AI firm, has launched an AI-assisted document writing platform for beta testing. It contains a large amount of writing data and many resources to help users write official documents.
