WITH the opening of the southern passage linking the Gangxia North Comprehensive Transport Hub and the Gangxia Metro Station on Friday, passengers are now able to transfer between Metro lines 1, 2, 10, 11, and 14.

The Metro operator has also opened exits 8, 9, 10, and 11 at the transport hub, providing convenient access to both sides of Caitian Overpass and Caitian Road. This improvement has effectively reduced average travel time by about five to 10 minutes.

The daily number of passengers passing through the Gangxia North Comprehensive Transport Hub has now reached 330,000.

The Shenzhen Eye Shopping Center, built around the Gangxia North Comprehensive Transport Hub, has flourished since it opened in 2022, hosting more than 80 retail, dining, culture, leisure, and entertainment brands.

The eastern part of the Shenzhen Eye commercial area opened concurrently with the southern passage of the hub. It has brought in popular brands like Starbucks, Heytea, and McDonald’s, offering visitors a variety of dining, sports, and leisure options.

Divided into east, west, and south sections, the total business area of the Shenzhen Eye commercial area surpasses 60,000 square meters. The southern section is expected to open in 2025, which will enhance the commercial layout of the Gangxia North Comprehensive Transport Hub and provide residents with a more diverse and vibrant shopping experience.
