HONG KONG Commercial Daily and Wuxi Daily in eastern Jiangsu Province signed a strategic cooperation agreement during a ceremony held yesterday morning at Hong Kong Commercial Daily’s Shenzhen office in Futian District.

According to the agreement, the two newspapers seek to explore the establishment of an international communication center and deepen the development of media think tanks in Wuxi and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

The two media outlets will also jointly organize exchanges among news associations and media outlets from the GBA and Wuxi, build a bridge for cooperation between Wuxi and the GBA, and facilitate overseas partnerships, as announced during the ceremony.

The ceremony also marked the launch of a group interview activity in the GBA. Nearly 30 reporters from over 20 major media outlets in Wuxi and the GBA will visit Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macao, and Zhuhai this week.
