THE 2024 Shenzhen International Intelligent Elderly Care Industry Expo is scheduled to open at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District this Friday, offering a weekend-long exploration into smart elder care solutions.

Scheduled to run from Friday to Sunday, the event will cover an area of 15,000 square meters, making it one of the largest exhibitions of its kind.

The expo will feature nine specialized exhibition areas that showcase over 1,000 cutting-edge products and technologies designed to enhance the lives of elder people, with more than 200 multinational companies and industry leaders participating.

The expo is expected to bolster the integration of smart elder care products with consumer needs, offering intelligent, high-quality, and diverse elder-friendly products to help the elder population better adapt to the digital age.

The expo will also be linked with a municipal home modification consumption campaign. This collaboration will see 31 participating companies showcase and sell nearly 400 smart elder care products on site. Eligible elder individuals can enjoy subsidies of up to 12,000 yuan (US$1,685) when purchasing elder-friendly products using their subscription code.
