A rehearsal was held on Sunday for the fourth Lushan International Romance Film Week theme ceremony that is set to captivate audiences on Tuesday.
The film week was opened on Sunday in Lushan City of east China's Jiangxi Province. Directors of the ceremony highlighted the unique aspects and thoughtfully crafted program design of this year's film week, saying the event will immerse audiences to a realm of romance and cinematic wonder against the stunning backdrop of Lushan Mountain.
"We take pride in hosting our film week atop a mountain, an extraordinary setting that sets us apart from other global film events. It's a harmonious fusion of mountains, water, culture, and the art of film-making," said An Renyi, a director in chief of the ceremony.
Adding to the allure of the ceremony, Ouyang Yingxin, another director in chief, revealed enticing details about the performances and presentations.
"We are thrilled to have the esteemed Japanese singer Lisa Ono gracing the stage, enchanting the audience with her renditions of 'La Vie en Rose' and 'Country Road Take Me Home.' Moreover, we will showcase scenes from ten beloved classic romance films," said Ouyang Yingxin, another director in chief.
The star-studded guest lineup for the ceremony includes renowned singer Lisa Ono, esteemed directors Feng Xiaogang and many talented actors.
