Chinese President Xi Jinping met with U.S. President Joe Biden at the Filoli estate south of San Francisco on Wednesday morning local time.

Xi was welcomed by Biden upon his arrival at the estate, with the two leaders shaking hands and posing for photos before heading into the meeting venue to begin talks.
The summit is the first face-to-face meeting between the two heads of state since their sit-down in Bali, Indonesia last November.
At the invitation of Biden, Xi arrived in San Francisco on Tuesday for the much-anticipated China-U.S. summit meeting, and to attend the 30th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting.
