The second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), slated from Nov 26 to 30, will see 20 percent more participating companies than in the previous edition, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade told the press on Monday.
"About 600 Chinese and overseas enterprises are selected and approved to participate in the expo, up 20 percent from the first expo. They are expected to drive the participation of more than 400 companies along the entire industrial chain," Zhang Shaogang, vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said at a press conference.
"The expo will also welcome guests from more than 100 countries and regions. Over 10 international organizations, and representatives from more than 30 provinces, regions, and municipalities will visit the expo in groups and have business talks. The number of visitors is expected to surpass that in the previous expo," Zhang continued.
Although the exhibition area has expanded to 120,000 square meters from the previous 100,000 square meters, and another zone has been set up at the Chaoyang Venue of China International Exhibition Center for green agriculture, it is still difficult to secure a booth, according to Zhang.
The expo is the world's first national-level supply chain expo that is dedicated to promoting cooperation in global supply chain and industrial chain.
