Both domestic and foreign enterprises have showcased their new products and technologies in fields such as modern agriculture and the health industry at the fifth Western International Sourcing Fair in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, aiming to find more partners through the event.
Spanning from Friday to Sunday, the event attracted over 550 suppliers, thousands of buyers, and visitors from countries including China, Spain, Argentina, Belarus, and Moldova.
In recent years, economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges have deepened between Shaanxi and countries such as Russia, Armenia, and Tajikistan.
This exhibition features a range of new equipment, technologies, and products with potential for international cooperation, introducing more "Made in Shaanxi" and "Intelligent Manufacturing in Western China" products to enterprises from these countries.
"After participating in this event over the past two days, we have achieved positive outcomes through this platform. We have already found our partners at the fair, and are looking forward to engaging in economic exchanges," said Dzhumaev Mukhammadzhon, an exhibitor from Tajikistan.
The three-day event featured over 600 booths with international standards highlighting modern agriculture, the health industry, western regional investment, and cross-border e-commerce.
It welcomed buyers and e-commerce platform representatives from seven countries and regions, facilitating connections between domestic and international markets and resources, and enhancing global trade channels to assist enterprises in western China in finding new opportunities and strengthening their global strategies.
"We organized nearly 50 enterprises from Xi'an to participate in the fair, covering the fields of the health industry, modern agriculture, and cross-border e-commerce, providing them with a better trade platform," said Cheng Xiyue, head of the international liaison department under the Xi'an Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
