LONG BEACH - The Long Beach Lunar New Year Festival was held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 12–5 PM at 2ND & PCH in Long Beach, California. The festival celebrated the Year of the Snake and was hosted by Sister Cities of Long Beach.
The New Year celebration also held the unveiling ceremony of the Long Beach and Qingdao children's Lunar New Year art book!
The Long Beach Lunar New Year celebration is full of cultural celebrations and community spirit. The event features live performances, including lion dances, cultural musicians and dancers, and lantern riddles, highlighting the rich traditions of the Lunar New Year. Vendors are on site to provide snacks, children's crafts, etc. for attendees. The event also promoted the booth of Long Beach's sister city Qingdao, disseminating information about Qingdao and increasing exchanges and mutual understanding between Long Beach and Qingdao.
