Many foreign exhibitors at the ongoing 18th China International Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) said that they are optimistic about China's large market and are looking forward to the promising development of their companies and products in the country.
The 18th CISMEF held from Tuesday to Friday in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, aims to promote international exchanges among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
This year's CISMEF, which covers an exhibition area of 80,000 square meters, has larger international exhibition section than the previous one, both in terms of the number of participating countries and the exhibition area.
A German nursing beds manufacturer brought their products to the exhibition, looking for more customers and business partners. The exhibitor said, they used to ship their products all the way to China from Germany, but as the Chinese market has kept growing rapidly, they built a 5,000-square-meter factory in Shunde City, Guangdong one and a half years ago.
"We are definitely sure that this product will be bringing into the Chinese market, [and that] will support the growing aged care segment to support the elderly people, the sick people and the family members [to] have easier care giving," said Jochen Guenther Schleiss, general manager of the company.
Many other exhibitors at the CISMEF also said that they are eying China's huge consumer market and they want to sell their products to the country and share the dividends of China's economic growth.
"We went many times at the [CISMEF] exhibitions in China, and hopefully we will find good customers from China and also find the new opportunity for business between Iran and China," said Mohsen from Iran.
"Because China is a big country, and here are many people and good businessmen in China. China is better than other countries. So that's why I want to do business in China," said Al Mohammed, a Pakistani exhibitor.
