Aerial footage has shown a majestic birds-eye view of the remote Pacific Island nation of Nauru.
Home to less than 13,000 people, the island country of only 21 square kilometers sits just south of the equator in the Pacific Ocean.
The country is a coral atoll encompassing a solitary island and its surrounding maritime area, which encompasses a 320,000 square kilometers exclusive economic zone.
In 2022, Nauru's GDP was 150 million U.S. dollars, with the per capital GDP reaching about 12,000 U.S. dollars.
Nauru announced its decision to recognize the one-China principle, sever so-called "diplomatic relations" with the Taiwan region, and resume diplomatic relations with China on Jan 15.
