Various uniquely-shaped lanterns, featuring contemporary elements, have offered a dazzling visual feast for visitors at the Daming Palace National Heritage Park in Xi'an city, northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

The event is part of the cerebration for the Spring Festival, or the Chinese New Year.

This year's Spring Festival will fall on Saturday.

With the festival just around the corner, the splendid lanterns and light installations infused with the elements of the popular online game called King of Glory, which has added an extra touch of jubilation and excitement.

"Now, as the New Year is just around the corner, this lantern show, coupled with the elements of the popular game King of Glory, becomes particularly festive and joyous," said a visitor.

Traditionally, lanterns tend to showcase traditional aesthetics. However, this year, the lantern show incorporates elements from King of Glory, creating a fascinating blend of ancient and modern styles.

"We usually see lanterns with more classical designs, but this time they have incorporated elements from King of Glory. It feels like a collision between traditional and contemporary aesthetics," said another visitor.

The unique and diverse lantern displays have captivated visitors, offering a delightful celebration as the Lunar New Year approaches.
