The 2023 Guangzhou Cultural Industry Fair kicked off on Thursday in Guangzhou City of south China's Guangdong Province, focusing on new trends in the development of the digital cultural industry.

The fair, scheduled for Thursday to Saturday, focuses on the high-quality development of the cultural industry and tourism industry, and showcases the development achievements of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in new business forms and models such as the digital cultural and creative products, digital publishing, and ultra-high-definition video.

More than 1,000 enterprises and institutions participated in the fair this year. And the total exhibition area is about 50,000 square meters.

"The exhibition halls provide tourists with immersive experiences. There are many places where people can take pictures. Outside, there is also a combination of water mist and laser. There are also immersive experiences about whales. It's really shocking. I'm so excited to be here," said Ou Xushi, a visitor.

As a part of the fair, the China Animation Licensing Conference was also held on Thursday to provide comprehensive services for the animation industry.
