The Latin America Sinology and Culture Center, affiliated to the World Sinology Center of Beijing Language and Culture University, was recently unveiled in Qingdao.

As a regular communication platform between the World Sinology Center and worldwide sinologists and sinology institutions, the Latin America Sinology and Culture Center will keep a foothold in Qingdao, rely on the sinologists of Beijing Language and Culture University, conduct cultural exchanges according to international, high-standard, high-quality and high-efficiency practices, evolve into an internationally influential academic base for sinology and related talented personnel, and work hard to promote communication in the international culture industry.

Furthermore, the center is poised to become an important bridge for Chinese and Latin American civilizations to exchange opinions and learn from each other, boost the people-to-people trade between the two regions, serve as a new platform to present abroad Chinese culture, a new stage to better tell China’s stories and a better channel to make China’s voice heard.  (Wang Shifeng)
