"I think wearing Hanfu (traditional Chinese attire) nicely complements the plum blossoms. There are so many flowers here, and the variety of colors is truly remarkable," said Guo Junran, a tourist admiring the scenery.
"I come here every year, and this year's blossoms seem even more diverse in color and variety. It's peak bloom season now, and more people are visiting this year," said Gong, another visitor enjoying the breathtaking display.
In recent years, the town has been working to transform itself into a rural tourism hotspot, blending flower appreciation, leisure, and vacationing to boost related industries. Today, it is home to more than 20 homestays and rural guesthouses.
"As the plum blossoms gradually bloom, our homestay's occupancy rates and restaurant bookings have been steadily rising. Right now, both online and offline reservations for dining and accommodation are in high demand," said Wang Chun, general manager of a local homestay.
In Wuyuan County of east China's Jiangxi Province, more than 1,600 plum trees have burst into full bloom, drawing numerous tourists for flower viewing and boosting local businesses, including homestays, themed restaurants, and Hanfu photography.
Meanwhile, in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, tourists can enjoy a unique experience aboard a cable car gliding through a pink floral paradise. The track runs above a vast plum forest, offering passengers breathtaking views of the blooming blossoms, as well as a stunning vista of the majestic Jialing River upon departure from the station.
In Chongqing's Shapingba District, more than a million tulips in a variety of hues are now in full bloom. For the first time this year, local authorities have introduced a flower sea lantern festival. The illuminated tulip fields, bathed in colorful lights, have created a mesmerizing nighttime floral spectacle, attracting numerous visitors.
