According to the Aerospace Industry Park in the SCO Demonstration Zone, the Geely Future Transport Constellation project in the park has been put into operation, where China’s first low-orbit future transport constellation will be built and operated for satellite measurement, operation and control, data processing and application services. To be built by Zhejiang Geespace Technology Co., Ltd. affiliated to Geely Group with a total investment of RMB 4.12 billion, the project commits to accelerating the commercialization of Chinese satellite application and building world-class demonstration application of satellite-ground incorporated satellites.

Based in the SCO Demonstration Zone as a starting point of global business, Geespace has built the global headquarter for medium- and low-speed satellite communications operation, take advantage of the existing constellations to boost smart marine industry, multimodal transport and smart logistics and underpins international cooperation in the Belt and Road Initiative by high and new technologies. Meanwhile, the project has built China’s first constellation AI data operation center that supports self-owned constellation application services, creating a high-reliability, high-safety and low-delay business operation environment for satellite communications, satellite remote sensing AI service, constellation measurement, operation and control services.  (Xi Fuchun)
