Jointly hosted by the Shandong provincial government and the State Administration for Market Regulation, the event consists of one themed conference, five parallel forums and a series of support activities.
The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) will issue a statement supporting the development of standardization talent training in China, issuing the Qingdao Initiative on Standardization Supporting Green, Low-carbon and High-quality Development.
It will also sign a cooperation agreement on training activities for the international standardization training base with Qingdao. It will provide a carrier for cultivating, gathering and configuring high standardization resources - and provide an opportunity for the global promotion of international standardization cooperation and exchanges.
Inspection tours will be organized during the forum. Experts in the standardization industry will visit companies in Jinan, Weifang, Yantai, Weihai and in other cities.
They will help enterprises solve their difficulties in the development of international and national standards.
