CHENGDU -- Livestream video footage captured an adorably carefree giant panda receiving food and affection from breeder at a research center in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
In the footage filmed at the Dujiangyan base of the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Pandas (CCRCGP), the bear is seen lying leisurely on a rock, eating snacks, and enjoying scratches on its belly from the breeder on a hot summer's day.
The footage was captured on the "iPanda" multimedia platform, which provides round-the-clock live broadcasts of the daily life and activities of pandas in the nature reserves of southwest China.
The "iPanda" channel is supported by CCRCGP, a world leading institution for the breeding and conservation of one of China's national treasures. The center also established a global platform promoting international cooperation and exchanges involving 18 zoos from 16 countries and regions, as well as 39 domestic animal breeding institutions and more than 10 scientific research institutes.
