An exhibition gathering the cultural relics of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) opened on Saturday in the Chinese capital city Beijing, drawing flocks of history fans.

The exhibition displays more than 80 pieces of cultural relics, showcasing the political and social developments of the Ming Dynasty and China's relations with the rest of the world during that time period.
This exhibition is the first time in 64 years that the golden crown of the Wanli Emperor and the four phoenix crowns of Xiaoduan and Empress Xiaojing are shown together.
Among them, the Three-Dragon Two-Phoenix Crown and the Nine-Phoenix Nine-Dragon Crown, which were stored respectively at the Palace Museum and the National Museum of China, were sent to the Ming Tombs Scenic Spot for this special exhibition on Saturday morning.
"We curated the exhibition of cultural relics with the aim of bringing them to life, allowing them to tell stories and showcasing the daily lives of people during the Ming Dynasty," said Cui Zhoupeng, director of the managing center of Ming Tombs, a scenic spot located in Changping District in Beijing, a collection of mausoleums built by the emperors of the Ming dynasty of China.
