Direct passenger flights between Ningbo in east China's Zhejiang Province and the South Korean capital of Seoul resumed on Saturday, restoring services that had been suspended since 2021.
The flights are scheduled twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, each taking only two hours.
Compared to transit trips in the past five years, the resumed services can cut down the travel time by more than four hours, greatly facilitating economic and cultural exchanges between the two cities.
The resumption of the route also brings the total number of Ningbo Lishe International Airport’s current passenger flights to international destinations, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to 15.
