When traditional lion dance meets modern dance, Changban Village celebrates the Lantern Festival

Art and Culture | On February 14, Changban Village in the Tianhe District of Guangzhou welcomed its annual traditional Lantern Festival event, the Bodhisattva's Parade, and planned a series of colorful activities. According to the annals of Changban Village, this folk activity has a history of over 200 years, aiming to pray for favorable weather and prosperity for the country.

2月14日历正月十七，广州市天河区长湴村迎来了一年一度的传统元宵活动——“菩萨行乡”。据《长湴村志》记载，这一民俗活动已有200余年历史，旨在祈求风调雨顺、国泰民安。今年长湴村精心策划了一系列丰富多彩的元宵活动，吸引了众多村（居）民与游客共同参与。
