As a common roadside tree in the city, it undergoes this transformation each early spring due to fluctuating temperatures. The shift between warm and cool weather accelerates water evaporation from the leaves while the roots struggle to supply enough moisture, prompting the tree to "change leaves"—as old foliage turns yellow and falls, making way for fresh new sprouts. #SplendidLingnan

近日，深圳的街头出现了一番独特景象，小叶榄仁纷纷落叶，满树金黄，为这座城市的春天增添了别样色彩。小叶榄仁是深圳常见的行道树，每年初春，深圳冷暖交替的天气加速叶片水分蒸发，根系供水不足，促使小叶榄仁开始“换叶”，老叶逐渐变黄，直至凋零后长出新芽。
