Mazu Festival Meets GBA Lantern Carnival: Folk Traditions by Day, Lantern Magic by Night

The 17th Nansha Mazu Cultural Tourism Festival in Guangzhou opened on the evening of April 18 at the Tianhou Palace. Visitors can enjoy traditional folk activities like the Mazu worship ceremony, temple fair, and Mazu maritime patrol throughout the day. As night falls, the area transforms into a dazzling lantern wonderland, offering an all-day immersive cultural experience.

2025年第十七届广州南沙妈祖诞于18日晚在广州南沙天后宫开幕。活动期间，妈祖祭祀仪式、宫庙会亲、妈祖海巡、非遗三献礼等传统民俗活动现场上演，游客可在白天观看祭祀仪式、参与三献礼，晚上畅游灯海世界，实现全天候、沉浸式体验。
