Grassroots basketball is taking local dreams global

City Life | On the evening of May 8, the city-level finals of Jieyang's VillageBA tournament kicked off in Guangdong. This event is part of the city's preparations for the 15th National Games in 2025. Over the next 15 days, 10 teams from across Jieyang will compete in 24 matches at the #basketball court in Tangpu Village Sports Square, Rongcheng District. As dusk falls, the courts buzz with cheers, blending into a lively scene of community passion.

5月8日晚，“喜迎十五运”2025年揭阳市助力“百千万工程”乡村篮球赛（村BA）市级决赛开赛。连日来，在揭阳市榕城区塘埔村体育广场的篮球场上，来自揭阳全市共10支队伍将在15天里进行24场比赛，暮色与呐喊交织成一片沸腾的海洋。
