New Gateway to Hong Kong in only 2 hours! Pazhou Port in Guangzhou opens temporarily to the public

Great news for travelers! Pazhou Port in Guangzhou has got the nod to open temporarily to the public, offering direct routes to Hong Kong International Airport and the city center.

The port is a Class 1 passenger terminal and was built in two phases with an investment of approximately 393 million yuan. It currently has two passenger ships, the 'Haizhu Lake' and the 'Haizhu Bay,' and the route has shortened the commute between Pazhou and Hong Kong International Airport to only 2 hours.

This is a huge boost for the city's transportation and tourism industries, and it will help promote the international influence of events like the Canton Fair.

据悉，琶洲港澳客运码头近日已被批准临时对外开放，将开通琶洲至香港国际机场和香港市区直达航线。

作为一类客运口岸，琶洲港澳客运码头分两期建设。其中，一期工程投资约3.93亿元，建筑面积约8500㎡，码头投入两艘客船“海珠湖”号和“海珠湾”号，开通琶洲至香港国际机场航线，约120分钟直达。

琶洲港澳客运码头的投入使用，填补了广州中心城区到港澳水上高速客运航线的空白，将有力助推包括广交会在内的广州会展业加速提升国际影响力和覆盖面。
