A Grain of Rice Powers a Thriving Industry: Chaoyang Rice Field Fashion Week Opens in Shantou

Lingnan Cuisine | On the morning of February 11, the Chaoyang Rice Field Fashion Week opened at CCO Leisure Farm in Xi’ou Village, Guanbu Town, Chaoyang District, Shantou. Twenty traditional Chaoshan-style “Eight Immortals” banquet tables were arranged in a row, creating a vibrant open-air feast. Creative dishes such as smoked duck breast infused with the natural fragrance of Simiao rice, oysters poached in silky rice broth, and glutinous rice with crab roe steamed in a golden shell...each showcased the harmonious fusion of Chaoyang Simiao rice and Chaoshan culinary craftsmanship.#LingnanCuisine

2月11日上午，潮阳稻田时尚周在汕头市潮阳区关埠镇溪西欧村的CCO休闲农场拉开帷幕。20张极具潮汕特色的八仙桌一字排开，构成了一席充满烟火气的露天盛宴。丝苗原香熏鸭脯、米汤凝玉灼蚝珠、金甲糯米焗膏蟹、卤香漫润米粿汁……一道道以潮阳丝苗米入馔的创意菜肴，将米香与潮汕烹饪智慧结合得淋漓尽致。
