From Bottle Caps to Masterpieces: Children's Creativity Brings Waste to Life

Art And Culture | The children's art exhibition Shh! Welcome to Our Secret Base recently opened at the Memorial Hall of Lingnan School of Painting. Young artists transformed everyday discarded materials—including bottle caps, straws, cardboard tubes, and fabric scraps—into imaginative works of art. Bottle caps became spinning wheels, fabric scraps turned into superhero capes, and quirky odds and ends grew into playful monster horns, showing how creativity can give forgotten materials a brand-new life.#artandculture

近日，“嘘！欢迎来到我们的秘密基地”幼儿艺术作品展开幕式在岭南画派纪念馆G层展厅举行。孩子们化身“造物师”，将废弃的瓶盖、吸管、纸筒、碎布等旧物重新拼贴组合——瓶盖滚成车轮，碎布飘成披风，歪斜的零件变作怪兽犄角，让“无用”之物迎来第二次绽放，体现了环保与创意的结合。
