Village Stories, Preserved Through the Eyes of a New Generation

Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders | As dusk falls, the Xinxing River quietly flows past Shuidong Village in Yunfu, while the silhouettes of horse-head walls glow golden in the evening light. An old square well in the village has provided flowing water for more than a century. Elderly villagers share stories in quiet voices outside the ancestral hall, while young people carefully record these memories along the village paths. Across southern Guangdong, a group of young people are carrying cameras and recording equipment, following elderly villagers into ancestral halls, along ancient paths and to old wells—documenting the evolving stories of rural communities.#SplendidLingnan
