The first Hengqin Lotus Festival opens in grand style

#TheGreatBeautyofGuangdongRecently, the first Hengqin Lotus Festival opened at the Lotus Garden in the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, an island in Zhuhai that borders Macao to the southeast.At the same time, the 23rd Macao Lotus Festival also kicked off in Macao.The two lotus festivals complemented each other and conveyed deep feelings of mutual trust between the people in the two places.The first Hengqin Lotus Festival aims to promote the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture represented by the lotus and to foster cultural exchanges between Hengqin and Macao.

近日，“莲彩聚澳琴”第一届横琴荷花节在横琴粤澳深度合作区荷花园开幕。同时，“荷香乐满城”第二十三届澳门荷花节在澳门举行，两地荷花节交相辉映，传递着两地交心交融、共享互通的深情。据悉，首届横琴荷花节以“莲绘新篇”为主题，旨在以荷花节为纽带，传承荷花所承载的中国传统文化，促进琴澳两地文化交流。
