Recently, kids had a battle performance of Yingge dance and street dance in the former residence of Chen Cihong. Cute and refreshing, the performance featured a little boy dressed as Shi Qian (an agile character in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms) jumping to the music with a snake puppet in his hands, and a street dance girl walking through the hall with a cool dance step. The charm of street dance and the Yingge spirit sparkled in kids’ cute dancing moves and expressions, and the lively and uplifting spirit of kids added childishness and playfulness into the powerful dancing. With the increasing popularity of Yingge dance, many schools and kindergartens teach young kids to perform in Yingge troupe and inherit the intangible culture. As a result, the traditional Yingge dance has now become a new trend among teenagers and kids. #artandculture

近日，来自汕头的小朋友们在到陈慈黉故居开展了一场英歌舞和街舞的Battle表演，"萌"味十足，令人耳目一新。有板有眼的"小时迁"在台阶上气势十足地"耍蛇"而跃，"街舞女孩"一个酷炫的舞步迈过厅房，街舞魅力与英歌精神在活泼可爱的舞步和神态中擦出火花，而幼儿天真活泼、健康向上的精神面貌，让气势磅礴的舞蹈平添了几分童趣。随着英歌舞火遍大江南北，汕头许多学校、幼儿园积极培育新生代，组建英歌队，传承非遗文化，如今传统的英歌舞正在少年儿童间成为新时尚。
