Fushan Country Park is on the list

[Fuzhou Evening News]Recently, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China announced the list of green and low-carbon typical cases for 2022, and Fushan Country Park was selected as a typical case of green and low-carbon public practice base for 2022.

The Fushan Country Park connects the three hills of Dafu Mountain, Wufeng Mountain, and Keti Mountain, forming a unique feature of viewing the river, the mountain, and the city in a same time. The total investment of the park is about 1.6 billion yuan, with a planned construction of an ecological park of about 5000 acres and a planned trail with total length of about 30 kilometers.

In the construction of the urban greenway system, Fushan Country Park insists on putting the protection of the original ecology first, creates a demonstration model of green, low-carbon, and harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, and combines the hilly pattern in Fuzhou. It serves the functions of viewing the city, leisure and fitness, and ecological environmental protection. We aim to construct a characteristic landscape leisure and slow travel system in the city center, fully reflecting the concept of "ecology, convenience, fitness, leisure, and sharing".

As one of the areas with the richest ecological diversity in the urban area of Fuzhou, the Fushan Country Park currently has more than 10 types of national secondary protected birds, including the silver pheasant, brown winged crow cuckoo, phoenix eagle, and spilornis cheela, attracting a large number of animal conservationists and enthusiasts to come here to watch and take photos.
