China Marine Equipment Expo to be permanently held in Fuzhou


[Fuzhou Evening News]With the approval of the State Council of China, the 2023 World Marine Equipment Conference (WMEC), co-sponsored by the Fujian Provincial Peoples Government, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Transport, will be held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province from October 12th to 15th.

Themed Pursue Human Dreams for the Conquest of the Star of Oceans, the conference will focus on in-depth exchanges on hot spots in the field of marine equipment and become a high-level international event for exchanges and cooperation in global marine equipment.

The conference will be reportedly composed of 1+6+1+N, namely 1 opening ceremony and main forum, 6 special forums, 1 achievement exhibition and N activities. It is expected to draw 3,000 attendees, including about 300 foreign guests composed of representatives of international ocean-related organizations, marine equipment powerhouses and countries and regions along the Belt and Road.

Among the activities to be held in the period are the China Marine Equipment Expo and the Conference on Marine Equipment Industry Chain and Supply Chain Ecosystems hosted by China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC), and the National Paddle Board Championship sponsored by China Water Sports Administration. Reportedly, China Marine Equipment Expo will be permanently held in Fuzhou on an annual basis, and built into a national level and even a world-class platform for marine equipment achievement demonstration, exchanges and cooperation.  (Ma Liqing)
