Large-scale light and shadow show put on at the Heart of Minjiang River

[Fuzhou Evening News]From October 12 to 14, a large-scale light and shadow show was put on every night at the core zone of the Heart of Minjiang River.

Consisting of three chapters, namely Sail the Ocean from Southeast China, Build Platforms to Boost Industrial Development, Pool Wisdom along the Belt and Road, the show presents equipment manufacturing, green and intelligent development, marine economy and outlook for the future with the aid of laser beams, 3DMapping and special illumination effects, provides a pantomimic introduction to the history of Minjiang River and Fuzhou, and the progress in Fuzhou’s maritime initiatives. Alongside the exhilarating blue light and shadow show, water curtain projection, motor-boating performance and Chinese drums performance have won rounds of applause.

In addition to the light and shadow show, cultural and art performances were staged on Moli Avenue on the north side of the core zone of the Heart of Minjiang River.  Apart from Fuzhou storytelling, national musical instruments performance and traditional ethnic dance, Jianghai Benteng (Rivers and Seas Rolling Ahead Ceaselessly), the first large-scale outdoor immersive coastal live-action song and dance drama in Fuzhou, was shown on the Maritime Silk Road Stage.
