Spokesperson of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduces the world 13 most beautiful subway stations in the country 

Mao Ning, spokesperson of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, posted a video about 13 most beautiful subway station in the country, which included Yingqian Station of Fuzhou Metro Line No. 6.

The Fuzhou Metro Line No. 6 is a rail transit artery to connect the main urban area with the coastal new area. In public areas in stations of the Metro Line No. 6, simple but vibrant-looking decoration featuring aquamarine combines delicately with jasmine flower- and sea wave-shaped patterns to present unique features. The Yingqian Station has a style of its own, the only elevated station across the Line No. 6 and the first elevated station in the Fuzhou Metro system.

From the perspective of architectural aesthetics, the Yingqian Station resembles a whale leaping out of the sea, and combines in a perfect way marine elements with modern designs, emblematic of the coastal city’s grandeur and briskness.  (Xu Wenyu)
