The international consumer goods expo featuring high-quality products from Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states took place in Qingdao in Shandong from July 10 to 13.

As part of the 6th Summer Event series, this year's expo is based on the theme "connecting global quality products, sharing SCO opportunities". It spans 10,000 square meters of exhibition space, featuring over 300 domestic and international exhibitors, each showcasing products with their own distinct regional character.

The Serbian pavilion drew particularly lively crowds. Wang Yang, general manager of Yitong Jinmao Information Technology Co Ltd, was at the booth promoting wines from a renowned Serbian wine town.

"These wines, made with a unique cold maceration process to better extract the flavour, have a smooth, sweet taste with a lingering finish that perfectly suits Chinese palates," Wang said.

The expo showcased a wide range of specialty products from around the world, alongside Chinese delicacies such as Sichuan sausage and Zhangqiu ironware. A Jiaozhou intangible cultural heritage pavilion highlighted local crafts like Jiaozhou paper-cutting and yangko dance performances.

Through exhibition displays, trade exchanges, and targeted business matching, the expo is building a high-level international cooperation platform that integrates consumption, culture, tourism, and economic collaboration.
