A CAPTIVATING balloon at the center of the Longhua pavilion in Hall 15 is enticing visitors to take photos. According to a staffer, Longhua District plans to introduce the balloon project for tourism in the future.

Longhua has brought over 20 companies, including Costco and the Karoo Ice Snow ski resort, to the fair this year. The Longhua exhibition area covers 390 square meters.

Among the exhibitors at the pavilion is Shenzhen Zhenglong Weiye Technology Co. Ltd., which specializes in precision motion control products. This is the first year that the firm has attended the ICIF. It is presenting its 3D digital scanning solutions at the fair.

“Laser technology is commonly used in precision manufacturing and could be expertly applied to cultural contexts,” Dong Qinghui, project manager of the company, told Shenzhen Daily. The 3D scanners developed by the company can non-invasively record intricate details of physical cultural artifacts.

Also making a splash at the pavilion is Shenzhen Dison Entertainment Technology Co. Ltd., which made its first appearance at the ICIF.

The company is showcasing action figures from their original animations, such as Glory Alliance and Dragons Guardian. Renowned for their Chinese superhero animated figures, the company’s Glory Alliance series has entered the South Korean market. Plans are under way to expand their market presence into countries like Russia and Germany.

The company relocated its headquarters from Shantou City in Guangdong Province to Longhua in Shenzhen in 2018. Dison’s third season of Glory Alliance recently clinched a spot among the top 10 Chinese animation intellectual properties (IPs) with significant commercial value. It was recognized by the Jade Monkey Awards, which is known as “China’s IP Oscars.”

Yang Shu, product manager of Dison, said that the ICIF is an international platform and they hope to find some valuable networking opportunities at the fair.
