An adorable panda cub was been caught playing it cool in front of the cameras, stealing the spotlight with its laid back attitude and amusing antics as it puts on a show for visitors.

The video was captured at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in southwest China's Sichuan Province late last month and was recently released on the iPanda platform.
The panda cub, with its fluffy black and white fur, is seen nibbling away at some imaginary "snacks" as it perches atop a wooden structure, after which the baby bear then reclines all the way back, laying down with its paws splayed up in the air before letting out a large yawn.
The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a world-renowned institution for the ex-situ conservation of giant pandas, scientific research and breeding, public education and tourism.
The base is famous for its work in protecting and breeding giant pandas, red pandas and other endangered wild animal species exclusive to China.
